Over 50 million people in the United States suffer from allergies each year. The results vary from a stuffy nose to anaphylactic shock. Common solutions include antihistamines and allergy shots. However, these efforts can fall short.

Avoiding allergy symptoms is a simple matter of eliminating exposure to the allergen. However, it can be virtually impossible to avoid airborne hazards such as pollen and mold – except in your home. Using HEPA air filtration, removing moisture and mold, and installing proper seals, we can turn your residence into a sanctuary from allergies.

Our inspectors, certified by the indoor air quality association, will track down and inspect any and all potential allergy contamination in your home. We will take air, swab, and wipe samples for any irritants such as dust mites, mold, or pollen. We will also test for additional allergens that your doctor suggests. Finally, we will test your HVAC (heating, ventilation, air conditioning) for any additional allergens.

One in ten recalls mandated by the Food and Drug Administration is the result of contamination from allergens, including mislabeling. We can sample and lab test foods that may be causing allergic reactions despite not being labeled as having allergens relevant to you.

Because people with particularly bad allergies are more likely to have chemical sensitivities, we can also test for VOC and SVOC (volatile and semi-volatile organic compounds and formaldehyde) during the course of an allergy inspection.
